And just like that, Cyrus and Antigone Smith are inducted into Ashtown, the American base of the Order of Brendan, an ancient society of extraordinary individuals and explorers and a super-max prison for the most dangerous villains in the world.

Only 24 hours ago, Cyrus and Antigone Smith were normal kids helping their brother Daniel run the Archer Motel. They are practically orphans, their Dad having passed away and their mother in a coma.

But everything changed when Billy Bones, a strange man covered in tattoos, arrived at the Archer. Hours later, Billy Bones is dead, the Archer motel is on fire, Daniel is missing, and the Smiths are pursued by gunfire all the way to Ashtown.

All of this because of the Dragon's tooth that the old man had secretly given to Cyrus before his dying breath. 

Here they will learn to be competent in weaponry, their mile run must be under 6 minutes and 30 seconds, they must be impervious to the occult, and they must learn Latin.

For now, Ashtown is their best shot to get their brother Daniel back. But they must stay vigilant. The Smiths are not safe just because they're at Ashtown.
